This page introduces the 'Project to Bring Global Leaders Together to Discuss the Future and Peace,' implemented by the Hiroshima Organization for Global Peace (HOPe) in collaboration with various organizations.​

 

The Elders

The Elders, working for peace, justice, human rights, and a sustainable planet visited Hiroshima and urged immediate dailogue on nuclear issues.

An open event was held where The Elders and invited young speaker discussed how all generations can work together to combat the threat of  nuclear weapons.

GRULAC

In collaboration with the Group of Latin America and Caribbean Countries (GRULAC), which is at the forefront of efforts to promote nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, we held a seminar on the theme of “The 80th Memorial of the Atomic Bombings and the Role of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Nuclear-Weapons- Free-Zone”
