8:15 am on August 6, 1945—

This is the time when an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, which was the first use of a nuclear weapon in war in human history.
Approximately 350,000 people lived in Hiroshima, when the city was suddenly struck by intense blast waves, heat rays, and radiation. Many people lost their lives on the spot, and even survivors were forced to bear serious health consequences and social difficulties throughout their lives.
Japan is the only country that has been attacked with nuclear weapons during wartime. Atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, and on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945.
