In August 2025, Hiroshima Prefecture hosted the 10th Hiroshima Junior International Forum, which aimed to cultivate the next generation leaders.
This event hosted 85 high school students from 24 countries, including Japan, to engage in discussions on global peace.
The participants articulated their collective insights in the Hiroshima Declaration and presented it to Governor Yuzaki, given they promote world peace.

※Of the overseas participants, those from China, Mexico, South Korea and  USA (bold) are invitees from Sichuan, Guanajuato, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Hawaii, with which Hiroshima Prefecture has friendship and other partnerships.
The participants from Italy and Germany (italic) are from high schools which were visited by the participants of “Youth Peace Caravan in 2023”, who were dispatched to G7 countries following the results of the G7 Hiroshima Summit.
