What is the Hiroshima Business Forum for Global Peace?

The forum brings together concerned parties to share anew the importance of achieving global peace, a prerequisite for conducting business activities, through multifaceted discussions on ways to connect business and peace building. The forum is also designed to provide the business community with the opportunity to reconsider its role in realizing a peaceful world without nuclear weapons and explore ways to make concrete contributions to achieving this goal.
Since 2013, Hiroshima Prefecture has hosted eight forums , inviting leaders from Japan and abroad, including business executives, to discuss peacebuilding through business and share these discussions globally.
The "2025 Hiroshima Business Forum for Global Peace" was held over two days, May 30 and 31, 2025, marking the 80th remembrance of the atomic bombing and the end of the war.
