Seminar on "The 80th Memorial of the Atomic Bombings and the Role of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Nuclear-Weapons- Free-Zone"

In commemoration of 80 years since the atomic bombings and the end of World War II, HOPe, in collaboration with the Group of Latin American and Caribbean Countries (GRULAC) organized a seminar on "The 80th Memorial of the Atomic Bombings and the Role of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Nuclear-Weapons-Free Zone" to advance efforts toward achieving a world without nuclear weapons. The seminar focused on nuclear disarmament initiatives and progress in disarmament education being promoted by these countries.

During the seminar, the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture delivered a message outlining the initiatives being carried out by Hiroshima Prefecture and HOPe. Additionally, sessions were held featuring high-ranking government officials from Latin American and Caribbean countries.
