Self-PR (guide accomplishments, guide course proposals)
I was born and brought up in Hiroshima. I worked for a travel agent in New Zealand for 3 years as a tour guide and a tour coordinator. I have guided over 1,000 clients in 6 months. ln Hiroshima, tourists visit two world heritage sites, Atomic bomb dome in the city and Miyajima island (Itsukushima Shine). On Miyajima island, I usually recommend people to bake Momiji manjyu,a maple shaped cake. Momiji manjyu was invented on this island. Now, it is a specialty in Hiroshima. For people who love Japanese sub-culture,I take them to anime events and anime shops. For people who love sports, I take them to sports facility. There, people enjoy bowling, karaoke, archery, badminton, volleyball, and so on. Visiting arcade might be an interesting experience. Tourists enjoy video games, crane games, drum games as such. Visiting “Print Club” shops is another option. “Print Club” machines take photos of you and create stickers. For people who want to enjoy real powdered tea at a temple, I can arrange it for them. If you want to meet hibakusha, A-bomb survivors, I will get in touch with them. In Kure, I take people to the iron whale, Yamato battleship museum, and Irifuneyama museum. I enjoy meeting people. I especially enjoy FIT (Foreign Independent Tour) groups.
