Self-PR (guide accomplishments, guide course proposals)

I have had almost no experiences as a guide.
I used to be an English teacher of Hiroshima Prefectural senior high schools for 33 years, during which period I had worked with ALTs (Assistant lauguage Teachers).
Evem when II had been principa nfor 4 years), I had had many chances to receive teachers and officials of the Board of Education from USA, Canada, New Zealand and so on.
Those experiences will help me become a good guide, I hope. I live in Fukuyama City.
I will be very happy to introduce tourists from abroad to Fukuyama Castle, the Cultural Zones nearby, and a historical sites”Tomonoura”.
In the Central Park of Fukuyama City stand statues of mother and her children.
On the morning after the air-raids, on August 9,1945, charred dead bodies were found lying in the paddy field.. They were a woman with a baby in her arm and a boy grabbing his mother’s leg tightly. One of the witnesses to the scene was deeply moved by the miserable sights and the mother’s love for her children.
The statues were erected to give rest to the souls of the victoms of the air-raids.
We were financially supported by the City and published a picture book referring to these stories.
