Self-PR (guide accomplishments, guide course proposals)
It is Kure that I recommend to those who have visited Hiroshima once or stay in Hiroshima more than 2 days.
Kure is a city that is 35 minutes away from Hiroshima Station by JR rapid train, and there are 2 maritaime museums in less than a 10-minute walk from Kure Station.
One is "Kure Maritime Museum" known as "Yamato Museum," and the other is "Japan Maritime Self Defense Force(JMSDF) Kure Museum" known as "The Whale of Iron Museum."
In "Yamato Museum" you can see the history, shipbuilding technology, etc. of Kure including 1/10 model of battleship Yamato built in Kure.
And in "The Whale of Iron Museum" you will also be able to visit the actual submarine on the ground for free.
I have careers more than ten years as an officer of JMSDF, so I am good at a deep commentary of those museums.
