This indoor swimming pool facility faces Katsurahama Beach on Kurahashi Island, which has been known since ancient times as a shipbuilding village, and is also a beautiful swimming beach selected as one of Japan's 100 best "white sandy beaches with green pines". The pool is designed with a sense of transparency and openness, and the surrounding landscape is incorporated into the pool, creating a space in which visitors feel as if they are swimming amidst the trees.
