This Western-style house was built in Saijo, Higashi-Hiroshima City, as the Hiroshima Prefectural Sake Brewing Laboratory. It is now owned by a sake brewing company and used as a sake library and café. In addition, in the back is the Aisenkan, where visitors can try indigo dyeing.
The front of the building is decorated with attached pillars and clapboards, and at the top is a hip-folded roof, which was popular at the time. The exterior is Western-style, but the interior is strongly Japanese in design.
