2022年は日本・インド国交樹立70周年という節目を迎えます。これを記念し，日印国交樹立70周年記念特別展「絵画で紡ぐインドと日本のきずな－ウペンドラ・マハラティと高山博子－」を開催します。
The year 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of Japan-India diplomatic relations. To commemorate this milestone, we will hold the Special Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and India: “The Ties between India and Japan through Paintings: Upendra Maharathi and Hiroko Takayama.”

展示作品　Exhibited works

本展では，ニューデリー国立近代美術館が所蔵する，日本にもゆかりがあるインド人画家ウペンドラ・マハラティの作品24点と，長年にわたりインドをテーマに制作活動を行っている，広島市在住の画家高山博子氏の作品約15点を展示いたします。
This exhibition will feature 24 works by the renowned Indian painter Upendra Maharathi with a connection to Japan from the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art (New Delhi) and about 15 works by Hiroko Takayama, a Hiroshima City-based painter who has focused on the theme of India for many years.

記念講演会「インドに魅せられて」　Commemorative Lecture "Fascinated by India"
