Getting to Hiroshima

Hiroshima Prefecture is conveniently located for transportation.
The prefecture is served by a total of six international and five domestic air routes operating out of Hiroshima International Airport. It is crisscrossed by rail transportation such as the Sanyo Shinkansen and the Sanyo Honsen lines. Highways, such as the Chugoku Expressway and the Sanyo Expressway, wind throughout the prefecture.
In addition, spring of 1999 saw the opening of the “Setouchi Shimanami Kaido”(Honshu-Shikoku Onomichi-Imabari Bridge).
